Tsvia Greiver Atik was born 9 April 1931 in Jerusalem. She was the daughter of Yosef Greiver and Pnina Levy and the granddaughter of R Shmuel Levy and Chana Ita Gratch. She married Elimelach Atik and had three children, two sons and a daughter.
Tsvia and Elimelech’s children are related to me in two ways. One is that they are descended from R Shmuel Levy and Chana Ita Gratch. The other is that they are descended from the Lipson family. Elimelech’s mother, Sarah Cohen Atik, was the daughter of Zlate Leah Lipson Cohen who was the sister of Isak Jacob Lipson, Elias Lipson and Chaya Lipson Zoberg.
She was born near the Hakhnasat Orehim, or Zohorei Chamah also known as the Sundial House in Jerusalem. When she was 75, her grandson took her there and made a film of her visit. You can watch it below, on this page or go to the Zohorei Chamah page to see it there. Tsvia died in January of 2023.
This video was made by Tsvia’s grandson to celebrate her 75th birthday. She was born very near to her grandfather’s sundial building. So she paid it a visit.
