(1896-1897) Isaac was born in early 1896, which makes sense as his parents were married in NY, NY on 7 July 1895. But as his sister Sarah was also born in 1896, on November 25, I suspect he was born at least 9 months earlier, i.e. around February or March of 1896, in NY. Most likely his name was not Isaac. For some reason, his father’s name was used for identification; as Jewish children are rarely named after a living relative. The infant “Isaac” died of convulsions, at the age of 1 year, on 1 March 1897 in Kent, Delaware. I don’t know where he is buried.
