Nova Ukraine is dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States as well as in the rest of the world. So much of our family comes from Ukraine, and this is an excellent organization to help provide aid.
The River Road African American Museum is located in the town of Donaldsonville, where the Hess, Sanger, and Jacobi families lived and owned enslaved peoples. The museum educates visitors about the history and culture of African Americans in the rural communities of south Louisiana through the collection, preservation, and interpretation of art, artifacts, and historic buildings.
Reb Shmuel Levy Sundial House in Jerusalem. Located on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem in the Mahane Yehuda area. Also known as the Sundial Building and was constructed by Rabbi Shmuel Levy from 1908-1917. It was damaged by fire in 1941 and partly restored in 1980 and there is currently further restoration in progress.
