Meyer Levy was born 15 January, 1873, in Drohitchen, Belarus (probably), the son of Abraham and Rose Levy, the brother of Ike and Shmuel Levy. He married Sadie Matalovsky around 1894 and they came to the US around 1896, settling in Brooklyn, NY. Their daughter Rose was born in the old country and the remaining children were born in NY (except for Gertrude who was born in Chicago).
Meyer worked as an Expressman, I think something like a truck driver.
Meyer died in New York, 28 July, 1941, at the age of 68, of a heart attack, on the sidewalk in Brooklyn.

Fifth: I emigrated to the United States from Hamburg on or about the 15 Nov 1896 and arrived at the port of New York in the US on the vessel Persia.
Sixth: I declared my intention to become a citizen of the US on the 3rd day of May anno Domini 1902, NY, Bor of Manhattan , in the Supreme Court of NY County office.
Seventh: I am married, My wife’s name is Sadie Levy. She was born in Russia and now resides at 119 Forsyth St. NY. I have 5 children and the name date and place of birth and place of residence of each of said children is as follows:

I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy. I am attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and it is my intention to become a citizen of the US and to renounce absolutely and forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, sate, or sovereignty, and particularly to Nicholas II Emperor of Russia of which at this time I am a subject and it is my intention to live permanently in the US.
Ninth. I am able to speak the English language.
